Pancacuriga As A Tool For Analyzing Social Phenomena Texts

Semiotics and discourse analysis serve as intellectual tools for exploring meaning beneath the surface, even unearthing the meaning behind the meaning. Meanwhile, Pancacuriga, also a "tool" for interpreting and understanding something, is more widely known and used by certain groups, such as puppeteers in wayang performances. Semiotics, discourse analysis, and Pancacuriga utilize a specific framework or structure for analysis. This paper examines Pancacuriga as a uniquely Indonesian analytical tool for reading texts and social phenomena. The method used is qualitative with a grounded theory design. Pancacuriga has a methodological cycle. The five elements of Sindir, Silib, Siloka, Simbul, and Sasmita form a communication system and simultaneously an epistemology—a uniquely Sundanese way of knowing and understanding. Pancacuriga, in essence, is the application of the scientific spirit to the humanities and social life. Semiotics, discourse analysis, and Pancacuriga are analytical systems that aim to uncover meaning beneath the surface, but differ in their origins, structure, and philosophical foundations.

The Role of Brand Image and Price Perception in Purchasing Intention of Onix Perfume on TikTok Shop (Survey of Gen Z in Bandung City)

The development of short video-based social media, particularly TikTok, has changed consumer purchasing behavior for sensory products such as perfume. In the context of online purchases, brand image and price perception are crucial factors because consumers cannot evaluate the product directly. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and price perception on purchase intention for local perfume, Onix, through TikTok in Bandung City. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 100 Generation Z respondents who had been exposed to Onix perfume content on TikTok. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that brand image and price perception had a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, both partially and simultaneously. Price perception had a more dominant influence than brand image. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.670 indicates that both variables can explain 67% of the variation in consumer purchase intention. This finding emphasizes the importance of integrating brand communication strategies and appropriate pricing in increasing purchase intention for local perfume products on social media platforms. This research contributes to digital marketing studies, particularly in understanding consumer behavior towards sensory products on short video-based social media.

The Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Work Discipline on Employee Work Productivity at CV.Graha Intan Ciwangi Bandung Regency

This study aims to analyze the effect of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and work discipline on employee productivity at CV. Graha Intan Ciwangi, Bandung Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 32 employees as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing through t-tests and F-tests.The results show that partially, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) has a significant effect on employee productivity, with a calculated t-value of 2.465 greater than the t-table value of 2.042 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Work discipline also has a significant effect on employee productivity, with a calculated t-value of 7.119 greater than the t-table value of 2.042 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, OHS and work discipline have a significant effect on employee productivity, as indicated by an F-value of 102.87 greater than the F-table value of 4.17 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination of 0.876 indicates that 87.6% of employee productivity is influenced by these two variables.

Policy Networks and the Effectiveness of Public Policy Implementation from the Perspective of Special Autonomy in Jayawijaya Regency

The implementation of public policy in special autonomous regions is highly complex due to unique geographical, social, cultural, and institutional conditions. Jayawijaya Regency, as part of the special autonomous region of Papua, faces various challenges in implementing public policy, requiring a collaborative governance approach. This study aims to analyze the role of policy networks in supporting the effectiveness of public policy implementation in Jayawijaya Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical research type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed qualitatively. The results show that the implementation of public policy in Jayawijaya Regency has not been optimal due to weak coordination between actors, limited capacity of the apparatus, minimal involvement of indigenous peoples, geographical and infrastructure barriers, and low levels of trust between the government and the community. This study concludes that strengthening an inclusive, adaptive, and trust-based policy network is a key factor in improving the effectiveness of public policy implementation in special autonomous regions.

This article discusses the phenomenon of “pelabrakan”, both physical and digital, which reflects low legal awareness and the dominance of social emotions over legal rationality in Indonesian society. Acts of vigilantism often arise due to perceptions of slow law enforcement, injustice, and a communal culture that emphasizes personal or family honor. In the digital era, pelabrakan has expanded to social media through the dissemination of personal shame, insults, and threats, which can be classified as cybercrime under the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). This study analyzes the psychological and juridical interactions of pelabrakan through the Family Legal Awareness (Kadarkum) Socialization program in Kelurahan Baru Ulu, Balikpapan. The findings show that value-based legal education can transform community behavior from emotional reactions to rational resolution, foster self-control, and build a legal culture. These results emphasize the need for preventive, educational, and digital approaches in fostering legal awareness among society.

The authority of the Personal Staff of the Leader (Spripim) in the Bali Regional Police Department in protocol and communication focuses on administrative, technical, and analytical support to assist the Leader (Regional Police Chief) in carrying out his or her primary duties. This includes coordination, agenda management, material preparation, leadership security, and acting as a strategic communication bridge with internal and external parties, in accordance with Police Protocol standards and legislation. This role ensures the smooth implementation of leadership duties and the image of the institution, as stipulated in the Indonesian National Police Regulation concerning the Regional Police Organizational Structure. The responsibility of the Personal Staff of the Leader (SPRIPIM) of the Indonesian National Police Department is to assist the Chief of the Indonesian National Police/Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri/Wakapolri) or the Chief of Regional Police/Deputy Chief of Regional Police (Kapolda/Wakapolda) at the regional level in carrying out official and special duties. This includes preparing materials for the leader, providing personal security and protocol, coordinating administrative and business matters, and implementing internal affairs to ensure smooth daily operations. They are a service element that ensures the leadership's work runs effectively and efficiently.

The Application of Panca Cusiga as a Method of Interpreting Rumpaka Texts in Sundanese Art

Panca Curiga is a method of Sundanese interpretation which is commonly used in understanding texts contained in art, especially in rumpaka songs. The existence of discourse about Panca Curiga in society until now has only been limited to discussion without scientific investigation. Efforts to understand how to interpret rumpaka, especially in art whose creator is unknown, has its own complexities. This can be seen from the rumpaka-rumpaka that appeared before the rise of artistic industrialization, for example in the Sundanese art of pantun or kawih kaulinan barudak. From the results of the study based on the application of Panca Curiga to the rumpaka pantun and kawih kaulinan barudak models, Panca Curiga actually has many similarities with the disciplines of interpretive methods such as Hermeneutics and Semiotics. Therefore, Panca Curiga can be an opportunity to be used to study rumpaka texts in Sundanese art.

The Impact of Digital Leadership on Motivation and Work Productivity in the Subang Refional Government, West Java

Digital transformation in the public sector requires leadership that is adaptive to technological developments, as well as high work motivation in order to increase employee productivity. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression methods to examine the relationship between the independent variables, namely digital leadership and motivation, on the dependent variable, namely ASN work productivity. The results showed that digital leadership has a significant influence on work productivity with a value of B=0.265, Beta=0.492, and a significance level of 0.000. This indicates that the better digital leadership is implemented, the higher employee productivity. In addition, work motivation is also proven to have a significant effect on productivity with a value of B=0.341, Beta=0.340, and a significance level of 0.000. The ANOVA test shows that the overall regression model is significant (F=71.719, Sig. =0.000), which means that digital leadership and motivation together contribute to increasing work productivity. The R Square test result of 0.594 indicates that 59.4% of the variation in work productivity can be explained by digital leadership and motivation, while the remaining 40.6% is influenced by other factors outside this study. The findings imply that the Subang local government needs to improve digital leadership competencies through training for structural officials and strengthen the work motivation system through incentives, career development, and a conducive work environment. In addition, optimizing technology in public administration can be a strategic step in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of employee work. This research recommends further studies by including other factors, such as organizational culture and work-life balance, to obtain a more comprehensive picture of the factors that influence ASN work productivity.

Spiritual Concepts in the Lyrics of the Song Wengi Énjing Tepang Deui by Tatang Sastrawiria

This research focuses on analyzing the meaning of the lyrics of the song Wengi Énjing Tepang Deui by Tatang Sastrawiria using ideas from R.A Darja regarding pancacuriga. In analyzing the intertextuality contained in the meaning of the lyrics of the song Wengi Énjing Tepang Deui, this research was also elaborated with knowledge and understanding of Sundanese culture in order to obtain a comprehensive meaning. The results of this research show that the meaning constructed through the dictions and lines in the lyrics of the song Wengi Énjing Tepang Deui offers spiritual concepts that are structured through the practice of manekung which aims to gain enlightenment and become a true human being (Manusia Sejati). The meaning of this spiritual concept is obtained through drawing conclusions from the meanings that have been interpreted as sasmita or deeper meaning from the lyrics of the song Wengi Énjing Tepang Deui.

This study aims to analyze and design a business development strategy for CV. Dapur Kelor Bandung using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach in developing healthy food products based on moringa leaves. The rapid growth of the food and beverage (F&B) sector in Indonesia opens opportunities and increases competition, especially for innovative MSMEs. CV. Dapur Kelor Bandung faces challenges in the form of negative perceptions of moringa and intense market competition, necessitating a comprehensive evaluation of its business model. This study used qualitative methods through interviews, observation, and documentation, with descriptive analysis of the nine elements of the BMC. The results are expected to generate strategic recommendations to increase competitiveness, expand markets, and support the sustainability of functional food MSMEs in Bandung.

This research is motivated by the increasing competition of tourist destinations in Garut Regency which requires tourism managers to improve service quality and maximize digital promotion through Instagram social media to increase tourist satisfaction. Tepas Papandayan Agrotourism has great potential for natural and educational tourism, but still faces problems related to service consistency and the effectiveness of Instagram promotions in conveying information to tourists. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and Instagram promotions on tourist satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. The method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive and verification approach, with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to tourists. Data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis with t-tests and F-tests. The results show that service quality and Instagram promotions have a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction at Tepas Papandayan Agrotourism in Garut Regency.

The Role of Policy Networks in Public Decision-Making in the West Java Provincial Government in the Era of Decentralization

The era of decentralization has changed the pattern of public decision-making from a hierarchical approach to a more participatory and collaborative pattern. This change has placed policy networks as an important element in the public decision-making process. This study aims to analyze the role of policy networks in public decision-making in the era of decentralization. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical research type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of actors involved in the public decision-making process, then analyzed qualitatively. The results show that policy networks in public decision-making are not yet functioning optimally. The problems found include the dominance of government actors, weak inter-agency coordination, symbolic public participation, unequal access to information and resources, unmanaged differences in interests, low levels of trust between actors, and unequal capacity among local actors. This study concludes that strengthening policy networks through improved coordination, institutionalization of public participation, information transparency, dialogical management of interests, and capacity building of actors are important steps to realize collaborative and responsive public decision-making in the era of decentralization.

Public Speaking Training For Pesantren Teachers To Improve Communication Competence In The Learning Process

Pesantren Tasdiqul Qur'an in West Bandung Regency faces challenges in teachers' communication competence, particularly in public speaking within the learning process. Teachers encounter difficulties in delivering subject matter in a structured manner, optimally utilizing vocal techniques and body language, and managing classroom dynamics communicatively. This Community Partnership Program aims to enhance pesantren teachers' communication competence through comprehensive and contextual public speaking training. The approach employed is participatory and practice-based, encompassing material delivery, teaching simulations (microteaching), and structured feedback. Activities were carried out in four stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and program sustainability. The training results demonstrate significant improvements in the ability to structure material delivery systematically, utilize more varied vocal and body language techniques, and manage classrooms in a more interactive and communicative manner. Teachers became more confident when speaking in front of audiences and were able to create more dynamic learning experiences for students. This program has made a meaningful contribution to improving educational quality in the pesantren environment.

Implementation of the Agency-Level Financial Application System (SAKTI) Based on Minister of Finance Regulation Number 158 of 2023 on The Performance of Expenditure Treasurers in the Jurisdiction of the High Religious Court of Bali

The digital transformation of state financial management is an integral part of bureaucratic reform and the implementation of good governance in Indonesia. One concrete manifestation of this transformation is the implementation of the Agency-Level Financial Application System (Sistem Aplikasi Keuangan Tingkat Instansi – SAKTI), which is regulated under the Regulation of the Minister of Finance Number 158 of 2023. This study aims to analyze the implementation of SAKTI and its impact on the performance of Expenditure Treasurers within the jurisdiction of the Bali Religious High Court.This research employs a qualitative method with an empirical legal approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis involving Expenditure Treasurers at selected work units. The results indicate that the implementation of SAKTI generally improves the effectiveness, accuracy, transparency, and accountability of state financial management. The use of an integrated electronic system simplifies administrative procedures, enhances data consistency, and strengthens internal control mechanisms in financial transactions.Nevertheless, several challenges were identified, including technical system disruptions, limited human resource competencies in information technology, and frequent regulatory changes. These factors affect the optimal use of the system and influence the workload of Expenditure Treasurers. This study concludes that although SAKTI has a positive impact on improving treasurer performance, its successful implementation depends on user readiness, institutional support, and continuous capacity building to ensure sustainable digital financial governance.

The Effect of The Use of Local Government Information System and Human Resources Competencies on The Quality of Local Government Financial Reports

This study aims to examine the effects of utilizing the local Government Information System and Human Resource competence on the quality of local government financial reports in the West Java Provincial Government. The decline in fair opinions and the increase in fair opinions with exceptions indicate challenges in regional financial management and the need for improvements in transparency, accountability, and financial management systems to achieve better standards. This research uses different methods, contexts, places and populations from others research. The research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. Samples were selected using purposive sampling, involving 114 respondents from 38 regional work units. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS Version 30. The results show that partially, HR competence has a significant effect on the quality of financial reports, while SIPD utilization does not. However, both variables have a significant effect when tested simultaneously. Based on the model feasibility test, it can be concluded that the estimated regression model is appropriate for explaining the influence of SIPD utilization and HR competence on financial report quality. This is supported by the coefficient of determination (R²) of 47.5%, indicating that SIPD utilization and HR competence explain 47.5% of the variation in financial report quality. The remaining 52.5% is explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings highlight the importance of optimizing SIPD and HR competence to support the quality, transparency, and accountability of local government financial reporting.

Implementation of the Use of Digital Absence to Improve Civil Apparatus Discipline at the Office of the Class II Nusa Penida Port Organization Unit

This study examines the implementation of digital attendance systems in improving the work discipline of civil servants at the Class II Port Authority Office of Nusa Penida, Klungkung. The research is motivated by persistent disciplinary issues among employees, including tardiness, non-compliance with working hours, and inefficiencies in monitoring performance despite the adoption of online attendance systems. Using an empirical legal research method, this study applies sociological and legal psychology approaches to analyze how digital attendance policies are implemented in practice and how they influence employee behavior. Primary data were collected through observations and interviews with key informants, including office leaders and staff members, while secondary data were obtained from legal regulations, institutional documents, and relevant literature. The findings indicate that digital attendance systems contribute significantly to enhancing transparency, accountability, and supervision of employee performance. The system enables real-time monitoring of attendance and work activities, thereby strengthening organizational control and supporting the digital transformation of public sector governance. However, several obstacles were identified, including technical issues such as system instability, limited internet connectivity, potential data manipulation, and varying levels of employee awareness and compliance.This study concludes that while digital attendance systems are effective tools for improving civil servant discipline, their optimal implementation requires adequate technological infrastructure, institutional support, and continuous efforts to strengthen legal awareness and organizational culture.

Understanding the Five Suspicions from a Linguistic Perpective and the Possibility of Applying Them in Reading Sundanese Texts

Panca Curiga is an awareness of Sundanese society in interpreting itself with the environment and its Creator. The outbreak of discourse about Panca Curiga in the community until now has only been limited to conversation without a scientific investigation. From several studies obtained, Panca Curiga actually has many similarities with modern language disciplines such as Hermeneutics and Semiotics, which provide many opportunities to be used in studying the language phenomena of Sundanese society. This is at least practised to read Sundanese pantun rumpaka to capture its deepest meaning. Furthermore, Panca Curiga on a certain side is not just a tool for reading, but rather a paradigm that can even be said to be one of the ways of philosophising Sundanese society.

The development of digital technology has transformed the way businesses market their products, including in the fashion industry. Social media platforms like TikTok have now become key platforms for building communication between brands and consumers. Live streaming and video content are widely used digital marketing strategies, considered to be more interactive and emotional in engaging audiences. Zonatshirt045, a local brand in Bandung, utilizes these two strategies to promote its clothing products to the young, social media-active segment. This study aims to determine the effect of live streaming and video content on consumer purchase intention for clothing products at Zonatshirt045 Bandung. The method used was quantitative with a descriptive verification approach. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires with respondents who were students or young consumers who had been exposed to Zonatshirt045's digital content. The results of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies in increasing purchase intention and serve as a practical reference for fashion businesses.
