The police have a dual role as law enforcers and social workers in the social and community sectors. The duties and functions of the police are regulated in Article 2 of Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Indonesian National Police. The Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) is an integral part of the Indonesian National Police (Polri), tasked with fostering and deploying forces to address high-intensity disturbances to public security and order, as well as other duties within the scope of the Polri's primary duties. The questions raised in this study are: 1. What is the authority of the Bali Regional Police Mobile Brigade's C Pioneer Anti-riot Response Battalion in securing the simultaneous regional head elections in Jembrana Regency? And what are the obstacles faced by the Bali Regional Police Mobile Brigade in securing the simultaneous regional head elections in Jembrana Regency? The type of research used is normative legal research supported by empirical or field legal research. The results of this study indicate that the National Police Mobile Brigade's C Pioneer Anti-riot Response Battalion has the authority to address riots or mass unrest that have the potential to disrupt public security and order. This authority is based on the Police Law and the Regulation of the Chief of Police on Riot Management (PHH). The obstacles faced by the Bali Regional Police Mobile Brigade in securing the simultaneous regional head elections in Jembrana Regency include the difficulty of the Police in estimating the number of protesters, the large number of protesters also has the potential for anarchy, the ease with which social media can spread hoaxes, the lack of police personnel, and the easy explosion of psychological factors in protesters.
