Biodiversity Restoration Strategy in Swamp Ecosystems in the Lebak Hulu Sungai Utara Swamp, South Kalimantan

In the ecosystem of Rawa Lebak, Hulu Sungai Utara, South Kalimantan, wetland restoration methods were evaluated. Shifting land use and human activities degraded this wetland, degrading environmental quality and removing endemic species. The results showed that reintroduction of native vegetation, water management, and local community participation were successful restoration strategies that increased biodiversity, improved soil and water quality, and created economic opportunities through ecotourism. The success of the restoration program in improving the function of the wetland ecosystem is indicated by an increase in the population of endemic flora and fauna species such as Pandanus odorifer and Ardeola speciosa, as well as improved water quality and decreased sedimentation. According to this study, adaptive and participatory restoration methods can be a useful model for restoring other wetland ecosystems in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Clearance In and Clearance Out process in improving operational efficiency at PT Prima Lestari Segara Abadi which operates at the dock of PT Cirebon Energi Infrastructure. The research method used is a quantitative approach using multiple regression analysis to identify the significant influence of each variable on operational efficiency. The results showed that Bureaucracy has a significant influence on operational efficiency with a significance level of 0.024, while the variables of Process Time, Technology Used, and Facilities & Infrastructure do not have a significant effect directly. Customer Satisfaction showed a near significant effect on operational efficiency, indicating that customer satisfaction can play an important role in improving efficiency in the future. The interaction between the independent variables showed no significant effect, indicating that the direct relationship between the main factors is more important than the interaction between them.

Education and training play a crucial role in improving the quality of human resources in the maritime transport industry. This industry requires skilled, knowledgeable, and adaptable workers capable of facing the challenges of globalization and the continuous development of technology. Structured education and training programs can enhance both technical and managerial competencies, resulting in a workforce that is competitive at the national and international levels. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of education and training programs in creating a high-quality workforce and to identify the challenges faced in their implementation. The research employs a qualitative approach, using literature review and in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that continuous education and training are essential in producing competent and adaptable workers in the maritime transport industry.

The COVID epidemic produced significant distortion and destruction in all aspects of life, with the education sector being the most affected and devastated throughout the pandemic; maintaining the education system was the greatest difficulty worldwide, including in Indonesia. To empirically evaluate the status of education management, specifically Islamic education, this study looked into the management tactics used and the best strategies for efficiently preserving the Islamic education system in Indonesia. The study followed a qualitative research technique, with data collected through interviews. The data was gathered purposefully from Islamic school administrators, with a total of seven interviews done. The data analysis identified numerous themes, which have been thoroughly discussed in the findings section. This study has offered a distinctive addition by presenting the situation of Islamic education management from Indonesian perspectives in the literature.

Risk Mitigation For Ship Cargo And Electric Vehicle Cargo In Ferry Transportation

This study aims to identify the main risks and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation for ship cargo and electric vehicles in sea crossing transportation. With the increasing use of electric vehicles, risks associated with electrical systems, overheating, and lithium-ion battery fires have become major concerns in sea crossing operations. This study used a survey method with a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents consisting of ship crew, ferry operators, and maritime safety experts. The results showed that the risks of overheating and battery fire are the most significant risks, with a higher frequency of occurrence compared to other risks. Inadequate cooling systems and cargo placement that does not comply with safety standards contribute to the increased potential risk. While existing mitigation procedures, such as battery monitoring and cooling system upgrades, are in place, improvements are needed in specific regulations and crew training related to electric vehicle handling.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Facility Quality, Strategy Quality, Tourist Experience, and Promotion on Tourist Satisfaction using the KMC Kartini 1 tour boat in Pangandaran Regency. By using a quantitative approach, to measure the effect of each variable on tourist satisfaction. The results showed that Tourist Experience had the most significant effect on Tourist Satisfaction with a coefficient of influence of 39%. Facility quality also has a significant effect with a contribution of 27.3%. Meanwhile, Promotion has a positive but statistically insignificant effect. Quality of Strategy as well as moderating variables between tourist experience with service quality and promotion do not show a significant effect on tourist satisfaction. This study concludes that to increase the satisfaction of tourists using KMC Kartini 1, managers need to focus on improving the tourist experience and the quality of the facilities offered. Promotion and operational strategies need to be further reviewed to be more effective in influencing traveler satisfaction.
